Description: Medical Doctor Associates is presently looking of Hospitalist Opportunity in South Carolina - Locum Tenens right now, this vacancy will be assigned in South Carolina. More details about this vacancy opportunity kindly read the description below. 170 bed hospital located in Eastern South Carolina is seeking Hospitalist coverage to start in late May or early June. ! The hospitalist service consists of 2 day hospitalists + 2 midlevels and I nocturnist. The preferred schedule is 7on 7off but the hospital will accept candidates who are available for shift work only. This is a VERY manageable census opportunity in a great part of South Carolina.
Daily patient census for the day shift is 15-18 patients. The nocturnist will admit 3-7 at night. There is no call, no procedures or codes required for this assignment. The ED will handle all code response and critical patients.
Candidates must be residency trained Internists or Family Medicine physicians with recent inpatient experience. All candidates should have a current ACLS.
