Hospitalists needed in Northwest SCExpanding Hospitalist program needs assi! stance while the program is recruiting for permanent candidates. 600 bed Hospital would like to find an experienced hospitalist who would have availability for 7-14 shifts per month although preference given to doctors who can commit to a 7on 7off rotation. This is a busy hospital service with the doctors seeing 18-24ppd. The work schedule is 7a-7p and 7p-7a.
Responsibilities entail general hospitalist duties to include rounds, admissions, discharge summaries, consultations and H&Ps. The hospital prefers candidates who are comfortable with code response and procedures although there are Intensivists onsite to handle procedures. There are rapid response teams, run by critical care physicians, who will be the first to responds to codes and handle procedures for the inpatients. Candidates must be board certified, residency trained Internists who are ACLS certified.
Client will provide travel and local lodging for interested candidates.
