This position is Full Time and entails working five 8-hour day shifts a week (M-F, 8:30am to 5:30pm ET). The Care Coordinator role helps to navigate patients through the complex healthcare ecosystem in a professional and warm manner. Care Coordinators are key players in daily operations at Pager. The ideal candidate for this role enjoys partnering with nurses and providers to offer creative solutions to healthcare needs in an always moving and fast-paced virtual patient setting. A key aspect of this role will be written communication through live chat, as well as telephonically, with an empathetic human touch - so we are looking for an experienced service-minded professional.

Responsibilities:- Provide concierge care support via live messaging
- Ensure the highest quality customer service
- Partner with patients to troubleshoot real time technology needs
- Collaborate with clinicians to provide a seamless patient experience
- Coordinate provider appointments and procedures (scheduling)
- Guide the patient to various resources, based on their specific request
- Pilot new initiatives and projects
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in customer or patient facing service role
- Strong writing and typing skills
- Tech-savviness
- Ability to use critical thinking in an unpredictable healthcare environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology, processes, and the outpatient ecosystem is a plus
- Experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings is a plus
- Enjoys helping others and eager to challenge the status quo of traditional healthcare
- A zest for problem solving, seeking answers, and trying new things
- Kind, empathetic, and possesses a strong social perceptiveness
- Positive team player
- Outstanding multitasking skills

For Colorado, Nevada, and New York-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws the pay rate for this position is $21.65/hr. The compensation package includes a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The range listed only applies to Colorado, Nevada, and New York.
