Description: Medical Doctor Associates is at present recruited Internal Medicine Opportunity in South Carolina - Locum Tenens right now, this position will be ordered in South Carolina. Detailed specification about this position opportunity kindly see the descriptions. 200 bed hospital needs moonlighters to pick up shifts each month. The group is expanding and bringing ! in additional practices. There are 3 shifts available: 12 hour day admission shifts, 12 hour day rounding shifts and 12 hour admitting night shifts. Day admissions average 8-10.
Day rounds average 18-22. Night admissions average 7-10. Responsibilities include rounds, admissions, H&Ps, consults. ED is first response to codes but Hospitalists should be comfortable responding to codes.
No Procedures or call is required. The hospital uses Dragon Dictation, IM Bills and Meditech for its EMR software. Client will reimburse for necessary travel expenses while on assignment. Candidates must be board certified and residency trained Internists.
The hospital prefers candidates with no disciplinary actions, a current ACLS and experience handling a busy patient census
